Why I Started Paint & Create

I'm Heather Wheeler, an artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and muralist with over 20 years of creative experience.

For years, I created artwork for clients, businesses, churches, and collectors. I loved seeing people enjoy my work, but I discovered something even more rewarding: helping others discover their own creativity.

That's why I started creating DIY paint kits.

I wanted to remove the intimidation that often comes with painting and replace it with confidence. You don't need years of experience. You don't need special talent. You simply need a willingness to try.

When someone finishes one of my kits and says, "I can't believe I painted that," that's my favorite part of what I do.
